Business And Compesation Plan For Forever Living Products Distributors
According to FLP. Marketing plan, making money as a distributor is simple. All you got to do is use the product yourself to know how it works, then you share the products and the business opportunity. If you constantly do this and train others to do exactly what you do, you will make money to achieve “financial freedom”.
Below is the compensation plan chart of FLP
Before you start earning in FLP, your first step to purchase their combo pack to qualified for a rank called Assistant Supervisor. This will make you achieve some points known as case credits (ccs) within a period of two consecutive months.
The case credits are volume used by FLP to measure sales. 1cc is worth around $214 wholesale. This means that, to qualify for Assistant supervisor, thus 2cc, you got to pay a sum of $428 worth of products from Forever Living Products.
To reach the Supervisor level, (the level I got and quit) you and your team collectively need to buy or sell products of 25ccs for two consecutive months, to Assistant manager, you and your team must buy or sell a products worth of 75ccs for two consecutive months. I am saying two consecutive months because if you fail to do that within that stipulated time, you got to restart from 0cc.
This means that, to reach each level of the Forever Living marketing plan, you and your team must sell or buy the following:
- Supervisor and his team need to buy or sell products o3,975 for a period of two months
- Assistant Managers and his team need 11,925 in two months
- Managers and his team need to purchase 19,080 for two consecutive months
One remarkable thing in FLP compensation plan is: an awesome profit margin one can make in retailing their products. A whooping 43% on each item you sell which is massive comparatively. If you have recruiting power, to recruit more down lines, then you stand a chance of earning 5% to 18% commission on whatever work your team members will be able to do.
This means that your success in FLP depends on how many products you will be able to purchase and your recruiting power. As a matter of truth, this kind of MLM is not simple as it sounds. Finding new distributors that take the business seriously can be daunting and you also have to rely on other people’s success in order for you to thrive.
As an experience distributor in various MLMs, I can assure you that only 5% distributors succeed in FLP and 95% of Forever Living Products fail due to this particular reason.

My personal Experience With Forever Living Products
I joined forever far back at 2009, when a friend invited me to their BOM. I was so enthused about their business plan and eager to begin but no money then as I was a student.
I was just a student at that time, so I asked my senior brother to lend me money for the investment of more than $200. My Brother just looked straight into my eyes and said, ” stop you can’t do it”. He immediately turned down the business.
I did not heed to his words, I was hard-headed because I was convinced that no matter what, I will make it and I was really amazed about their business plan presentation.
I put myself together, got half of what will qualify me to Assistant Supervisor level since I ‘t want to start from anything less. I borrowed money from a friend and purchase my combo pac. I started selling their products to earn points while trying to recruit love ones to build my team.
Because their products are over costly, none of my team members was able to purchase the combo to qualify them straight to Assistant Supervisor level.
And the most downturn of all was that every time people heard about “Forever Living” they would not even come closer because of the price and nobody really wanted to buy!
I managed my way to the next level as a Supervisor and realized that I am wasting my precious time as this big tittle was fetching me very little.
So, I had no choice – I dropped the business – that wasn’t that easy as they said in the training was. My Brother was indeed right.
Of course, there are few people who are making money with Forever Living.
Things I Like About Forever Living Products
Forever Living Products is a legitimate business that is why it has been able to stand with time. No scam business can survive from 1978 to date. It is not a pyramid scheme rather. It would have been shut down a long time ago.
Seriously, it’s been around forever and a proven product 40 years and still counting.This doesn’t guarantee success though.
Look, if you don’t know how recruit, market a product or know how to sell to customers, you need to get training.
There are so many training programs out there and you need to find one that fits your budget and provides competitive training.
Don’t fall under the assumption that you are going to be able to walk into an MLM and starting making millions.
Trust me, it’s 1 out of 20.
Things I Didin’t like About FLP
Apart from the massive number of people that fail with MLMs, here is a few more external issues I have with most MLMs.
Your success relies on too heavily of recruiting and direct selling, If you are not good in recruitment and direct selling you will fail. Though you may receive some training. Another thing is that, their products are over pricing

From my review, it is clear that FLP is legit. But it is task oriented business and very difficult to succeed.

I am a big fan of FLP, because I had tried the products, last 1999, I used to drink the aloe vera gel, i was a little weak person and very skinny, I weighed 55 kg with my height 5.8 ft. after drinking 1 plastic bottle, that was maybe 2 litres i forgot how big, i begun getting stronger and I gain weight as i wanted to be. my appetite for eating and my sleeping was become good, I was not able to have more of it, because i worked on a cruise ship but because of that 1 bottle of aloe vera gel, I felt like being energized, I was strong and healthy unlike before. So i highly recommend FLP.

I read your review with great interest. I have been involved with several multi level marketing programs and did not do very well in any of them! A salesperson I am not.
It seems like there are so many of these programs out there and they all share things in common:
1. They are overpriced
2. You have to buy the products
3. You have to recruit others to be on your team
4. Most people fail
The appeal of the MLM program is there and very attractive for people who want to work for themselves, but sadly, it is also a way to spend a lot of money without any or much return on the investment!

A company like forever living products that dates back as far as it is must have a very solid root already and has been through a lot to be where it is today. There’s always something about MLM companies, their products are always top-notch and of great quality but the business aspect is what makes it not so good, you can only make money by recruiting a lot of people which can be hard.
Exactly my Dear, even if you have the power to recruit, your success depends on how effective your down lines are. That’s what makes MLMs annoying
Having been involved in FLP previously (many years ago), I can honestly say that I think the products are a great quality and the support I received was brilliant.
However, I never found that I was able to make it work and I think that is due to the type of person I am and not down to the company itself. I think to be successful in MLM you have to be prepared to do some things that are well beyond your comfort zone and it definitely requires a certain type of person.
As MLM’s go, this is one that I would definitely trust the most and cannot disagree that there is potential, for the right person.
I agree with you Emma, but in MLM, your success does not depend your skills for selling and recruiting alone but the most annoying part of it is that, no matter how much you work, if your down lines are inactive, you will not succeed.

I agree with this article wholeheartedly. I too tried my hand at MLM when I was younger selling beauty products, and unless you have the gift of the gab, it is really difficult to make more than a few dollars, and the time and money spent in the end was just not worth it for me.
Wealthy Affiliate is definitely a much better choice and I can vouch for them as I have been a member for over five years.

Thank you so much for your comment. Many MLM product companies have effective products as I have withness some myself. I used many of them as a distributor but my favouriate among them was the aloe vera gel, the one in the yellow bottle it contain about 25 amino acids, and many active compounds.
But to make money with their system, think twice

So I searched and am glad to find your article to learn all I need to know.
It was really interesting to hear of your personal experience and failure with Forever Living. But rather than failure it sounds as though you have learned a lot and have the continued desire to build your business, just not in MLM. I too have had experience in MLM and love how you put it – that success relies too heavily on recruiting and direct selling. I too do not like those things.
One thing I learned is that the Forever Living products cannot be sold like affiliate links / single product links and you needed to do the whole signup thing. Is that true?

I am very much aware of forever living products as I have made some purchases myself. But the fact is if you intend to be a marketer or someone that recruits then you have to have a working strategy with a winning team that has the right mentality to succeed.
This line of business is not easy and is not meant for the strong-hearted because you are going to get a lot of nos but depending on your mindset and success strategy it is very possible to succeed. Another reason why it is quite difficult to sell these products is that they are very expensive which is one of the reasons why I did not really succeed when I decided to pursue this line of business.

I also just like their Bee and Aloe products and know that those are things I would feel comfortable selling to people. I do, however, agree with you on some negative fronts here. I dislike MLM schemes for companies that want me to put in an absurd amount of time. I know that hard work pays off, but realistically, my schedule isn’t that open right now. Hi, I am not very found of multi level marketing companies. This company, Forever Living, sounds like it has great products. I don’t believe you stated if the products are organic. You did stated that they own their own aloe Vera plant. So do they source ethically from start to finish? Are any of their products leap certified? Are they leaping bunny certified? Is any of their packaging sustainable? Are any of their products organic? Are they clean? Are they natural? Where does the company stand on these type of things? It is admirable that the company has been in business for years. Thank you for the introduction to Forever Living.
Hi Jenn, FLP products are certified everywhere including Kosher and Islamic seal. It is international and everywhere in the world.
FLP also claim their products are natural and organic. In fact their aloe plantation is far from any city, and cannot be polluted by any free radicals.

I am not a fan of MLM opportunities at all and the reason for this is that they are normally more concerned with recruiting people into the business than they are about selling the actual products, which are overpriced. The figures sound so impressive – $2.5 billion in revenue with 10 million distributors sounds so good. But get out your calculator and you will see that only works out to $250 in sales per distributor per year…and each distributor needs to pay $200 to join? Suddenly you are down to $50 in sales in a year – not so hot after all is it?

This MLM company has been around since 1978, and I have heard about it even before I knew it was an MLM company.
I wouldn’t consider it as a legitimate MLM company though, if you are looking to join an MLM company, there are better ones out there.
However, the company itself is not a scam or pyramid scheme, that’s for sure.
You even got to swith from MLMs and focus on affiliate marketing , where your success does not depend on any downline’s success

Forever Living Products are another of the interesting products that I have learned about the past few years. I have tried MLM sales myself, and not successfully. In most companies, these products are excellent and do some of what you bought them to do. I have found that most reps that you buy from can’t afford to stay in the business either. So, even though I liked the product, I found it difficult to reorder or rebuy. I do take this as reassurance that I am not the only one in the world who does not do well in this kind of business.
As the products were usually relatively expensive for me, jumping through hoops to be able to acquire the product to use, I soon just moved on. There is surely a good support system that would survive online to allow an MLM company to be a good way to market online. Guess that is what makes affiliate marketing more attractive. You have no sales level to maintain. You can recruit, and earn for recruiting, with a much larger base to market to. You have done justice on your research of the billion dollar Forever Living Products company. From offering Aloe era products they have progressed to Bee products. Their products are natural and good but the business model demands that you recruit downlines and achieve stringent and high sales targets. The multi level scheme definitely raises the final price to the consumer. When it first started, to succeed in FLP, one needed to make a lot of phone calls to family ,friends and strangers to directly sell the products and recruit downlines as well.
I had a similar experience with FLP in my country, Malaysia way back in 1987. Could not make any progress as the price of the product at that time was considered expensive. I too gave up.
I see that you have ventured into affiliate marketing. I would appreciate if you could elaborate further your experience in the affiliate program that you are in. How long did it take for you to make your first sales?

Though just like MLM, it is not quick rich business but if have all the resources as stated in my #1 program, within two months you should be able to see results only if you are going to learn.
